As one of Utah's fastest-growing GMC dealerships, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence in the automotive industry. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive expert guidance and top-notch service throughout their vehicle maintenance and repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet customers, document their concerns, and advise on maintenance needs
• Consult with mechanics to determine necessary repairs and explore alternatives
• Leverage extensive product knowledge to inform customers about available parts and service options
• Answer customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups
• Provide advice on warranty protections and potential cost savings
• Oversee the workflow and schedule of the service department to ensure efficient operations
• Proactively communicate service updates and changes to customers
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Ensure accurate documentation of all services and costs, process payments, and adhere to factory warranty procedures
• Collaborate with service technicians and parts staff to coordinate parts ordering

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service approach to foster and maintain guest relationships
• Previous experience in the automotive field is a plus
• A solid understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
• Proficiency in industry-specific software for managing service operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers, mechanics, and management
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to customers
