Join our dynamic team at HELP as an Electrical Install Technician!
As an Electrical Install Technician, you’ll perform residential electrical installations and upgrades. You’ll work independently or alongside a lead electrician, completing jobs efficiently while maintaining high safety and code standards. This position blends technical skill with customer interaction, requiring professionalism, problem‑solving, and attention to detail. Your work will directly contribute to safe, reliable, and comfortable homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installations: Complete residential electrical installations, replacements, upgrades, and repairs. Identify and diagnose electrical issues and determine proper installation methods.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries. Interact with homeowners and represent the company professionally.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to create a safe work environment for yourself and your team. Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other electricians and team members, contributing to a positive and efficient work atmosphere. Guide, train, and support apprentice electricians on the job.
- Learning and Development: Learn to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job specifications. Stay up to date on electrical codes, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a licensed electrician. 2+ years in a lead (or similar) role. Experience with residential electrical is a plus.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Must be reliable and have a teamwork mindset.
- Licensing: Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by state and local regulations.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test.

Work Environment:
Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
