Description
The pay listed is subject to increase after probationary period and time-in-grade according to a County-wide step plan.
Responsibilities
- Order Intake and Validation: Receive, log, review and validate court orders for completeness, accuracy, and correct subject identification.
- Case Research and Identification: Identify all related arrest data to accurately identify responsive records across all systems.
- Records Processing and Compliance: Execute orders to seal, expunge, destroy and non-disclose in accordance with court orders, state law and mandatory deadlines.
- Documentation and Audit Tracking: Maintain detailed logs of orders received, actions taken, and date of completion as a tracking mechanism, demonstrating compliance.
- Quality Control and Accuracy Assurance: Conduct secondary review and periodic audits of completed orders across all agency platforms and applications.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the courts, petitioners and inter-agency personnel to ensure full compliance with all court orders.
- Applicants must currently be an employee of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office
- Applicants must have working knowledge of Spillman
- Applicants must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office products
- Applicants must possess strong attention to detail
- Applicants must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Applicants must possess ability to interpret and understand court orders and various correspondence
- Applicants must possess the ability to learn many new software, systems, applications and platforms
- Applicants must possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing
- Applicants must be willing to learn policy, procedures, and statute requirements applicable to open records, subpoenas, non-disclosures and expunctions
- Applicants must be able to multitask
- Applicants must be able to lift boxes up to 35lbs
- Applicants must be eligible according to MCSO GMO policy 1.1.9.XX
