As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
• Maintain required documentation, communicate observations to location leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and operate assigned equipment in accordance with applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
