Job Summary:

Allina Health is hiring a Mental Health Therapist at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, supporting adult day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. This is an on-site day-shift role.

Key Position Details:

• 40 hours p/ week Monday - Friday (1.0 FTE)
• Shifts are 8-hours, daytime, no nights or weekends
• Position is on site in Minneapolis

Job Description:

• Facilitating group therapy as well as providing therapy and clinical support in Day Treatment, and IOP settings including individual, and family therapy
• Working with adult populations in person or virtually
• Completing intakes, discharges, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and care coordination
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including, but not limited to, psychiatry, nursing and other therapists
• Supporting patient-centered, culturally responsive behavioral health care

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, family therapy, social work or counseling related field
• MN DHS Mental Health Professional Defined Qualifications: MN § 245I.04, Subd 2-3

Licenses/Certifications

• Licensed Ind Clinical Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work required upon hire or
• Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy required upon hire or
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy required upon hire or
• Licensed Psychologist-MN Board of Psychology required upon hire or
• Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
  • Allina in-house BLS training (within 180 days of hire)
• Will consider pre-independently licensed candidates on track to obtain LPCC, LICSW or LMFT

Pay Range

Pay Range: $35.61 to $48.81 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
