Job Description

To lead and develop the Agribusiness sales and relationship management team in driving sustainable portfolio growth, profitability, and market expansion by acquiring, retaining, and deepening client relationships, delivering integrated banking solutions, and ensuring the achievement of strategic business objectives while maintaining sound risk and compliance practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Commerce, Agro-Economics or related field

Experience:

3 - 5 years in management

• Develop and implement regional Agribusiness sales and relationship management strategies aligned to business objectives and growth plans.
• Drive the acquisition, retention, and expansion of key Agribusiness relationships through proactive market engagement and client value optimisation.
• Manage overall portfolio performance, ensuring sustainable growth, appropriate risk management, and achievement of financial targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate business risks.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure a high-performing and client-centric sales team.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key agricultural clients, industry bodies, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated banking solutions that meet client needs across lending, deposits, transactional banking, and value-added products.
• Ensure compliance with credit governance, risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Lead client engagement initiatives, industry forums, networking events, and business development activities to strengthen market presence and customer loyalty.
• Contribute to business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and execution of strategic initiatives within Agribusiness.
• Analyse management information and portfolio performance metrics to support informed business decisions and continuous improvement.
