COMPANY OVERVIEW

We exist to make food the world loves. But we do more than that. Our company is a place that prioritizes being a force for good, a place to expand learning, explore new perspectives and reimagine new possibilities, every day. We look for people who want to bring their best — bold thinkers with big hearts who challenge one another and grow together. Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what’s next.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Nutrition Specialist role will support the Bell Institute of Health & Nutrition (BINH) Regulatory Affairs & Reporting team. Primary focus areas include external nutrition reporting, product portfolio assessments, and analyses to advance organizational global nutrition regulatory strategies.

The role strengthens how nutrition information is organized and shared using digital and artificial intelligence tools to make data, insights, and resources more accessible and useful to colleagues and business partners.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead nutrition portfolio assessments and reports for external health and nutrition surveys, corporate reporting, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Partner with colleagues across the business to collect, evaluate, and interpret the data needed for accurate, timely reporting.
  • Analyze global product portfolio information to inform nutrition policy and regulatory matters, product renovation strategies, and corporate health and nutrition commitments.
  • Maintain clear, reliable nutrition information and develop tailored portfolio and competitive analyses to support business initiatives and regulatory responses.
  • Provide nutrition expertise for projects involving nutrient profiling, front-of-package labeling, retailer product scoring, and related topics.
  • Develop and communicate global health metrics and key nutrition messages in partnership with communications colleagues; maintain resources that support consistent, science-based messaging.
  • Create and maintain practical nutrition guidance and resources for colleagues and business partners.
  • Improve digital knowledge platforms by organizing and reviewing content, strengthening data quality, and making trusted resources easier to find and use.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, and stakeholder communications for knowledge-management and reporting initiatives.
  • Apply digital and artificial intelligence tools to simplify assessments, reporting, and repeatable processes; encourage responsible experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to cross-functional work on emerging global nutrition and food-safety issues and opportunities.
  • Support nutrition science communications, research, and conference planning as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food science, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to interpret nutrition science, regulations, and data and translate them into practical insights, product guidance, or clear communications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical information to varied audiences.
  • Project-management and stakeholder-partnership skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with colleagues across locations and functions.
  • Strategic, systems-oriented thinking and strong attention to detail; able to synthesize complex information into relevant insights.
  • Sound judgment and initiative in identifying problems, understanding their causes, and resolving them independently or collaboratively.
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently in a changing environment.
  • Comfort with digital tools and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in food manufacturing industry, food labeling or product claims
  • Experience as a registered dietitian or in a nutrition-related setting such as health care, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), or kindergarten-through-grade-12 education.
