Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Handle end to end product’s development till shipment, ensure right quality, right vendor, right price and on time delivery.

 

• Oversee end-to-end product development and shipment, ensuring quality, vendor selection, pricing, and timely delivery.• Regularly update buyers on production and shipment status.• Independently manage assigned product categories as the key communicator.• Coordinate operational activities: sample development, costing, production tracking, and WIP follow-ups.• Manage order requirements with suppliers, overseeing the process pre- and post-order.• Negotiate prices with suppliers as directed by management.• Monitor critical paths, forecast delays, and implement corrective actions for on-time delivery.• Identify production issues and collaborate with suppliers for solutions.• Assign and oversee tasks for team members, providing guidance and support.• Liaise with QA and factory management to maintain quality and meet delivery deadlines.• Handle vendor sourcing, onboarding, and training.• Manage lab dips, bulk fabric submissions, and sampling approvals.• Approve packing materials and ensure timely follow-up on T&A (WIP).• Build strong relationships with customers and partners.• Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.• Ensure timely scheduling of inspections and shipping logistics.• Coordinate with compliance for corrective action plans.• Report progress to the team leader as needed.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related fields• At least 3 years of proven experience in merchandising• Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team• Knowledge of handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques• Proven track record of driving team results and achieving goals• Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments and proactively navigates challenges• Creative mindset with an eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics• Up-to-date on the latest merchandising trends and best practices• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and collaboration abilities• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products
