This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

What You Will Do

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

 

• Join an established team of 3 physicians and 3 APPs
• Call structure: 1:4 M-TH and 1:8 weekends
• Practice setting: outpatient clinic and endoscopy suite
• Access to Support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and GI procedures

• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and other specialists. 

• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support clinical care, compliance, and reimbursement requirements

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
