Job Description:

The Role and Impact Join our team as an Analog Circuit Design Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cutting-edge technology. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance analog circuits that power advanced process nodes for analog and mixed-signal IPs. Your contributions will directly impact the functionality, power efficiency, and performance of Intel's most innovative solutions, enabling technological advancements that drive global progress. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will help bring breakthrough designs to life, ensuring optimal performance, robustness, and reliability. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop analog circuits for advanced process nodes, focusing on high-speed transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, PLLs, voltage regulators, and data converters. - Create and optimize floorplans and perform detailed circuit designs that meet power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals. - Extract chip parameters and simulate analog behavior models to verify design specifications. - Develop comprehensive test plans to validate designs against circuit and block microarchitecture specifications, and evaluate test results to ensure functionality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report design progress, address performance issues, and ensure alignment with project goals. - Optimize circuits for power, performance, and area, while minimizing leakage and improving reliability. - Partner with architecture and layout teams to design circuits that achieve the highest levels of functionality, robustness, and electrical performance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with no experience. - Proven expertise in high-speed analog circuit design, including transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, PLLs, voltage regulators, and data converters. - Proficiency in using EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, and Synopsys for analog circuit design, simulation, and verification. - Strong understanding of CMOS technologies, circuit simulation, and analog behavior modeling. - Experience in circuit optimization techniques for power, performance, area, and timing. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Familiarity with equalization techniques and SoC analog layout design checks. - Prior experience in DDR, PCI, Ethernet, or SerDes design is highly desirable. - Ability to contribute to group problem-solving and disciplined execution of projects. We are looking for motivated professionals passionate about pushing the boundaries of analog circuit design. If you are eager to make an impact and contribute to Intel's mission of shaping the future, we encourage you to apply today.
