Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time Hospital Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for staff, visitors, and vendors while supporting a professional environment at the location.
• Assist with incident documentation, directional support, and communication with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
