Requirements

Job Responsibilities

· Sort all linens and treat stains

· Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents

· Take wet, clean items and dry as directed

· Sort and fold or hang clean dried items

· Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to supervisors

· Maintain all laundry equipment and inform the facilities manager as to any maintenance needs

· Perform additional laundry services when necessary

· Keep the laundry room, linen storage, and all laundry equipment clean and organized

· Ensure that the laundry room is maintained as a clean and safe workplace

· Follow all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local regulations

· Report any safety concerns or hazards to management immediately

· Operate equipment according to all policies and procedures

· Follow all company service standards and procedures

· Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements

· Lost & Found Items found in the laundry to be communicated to be supervisors and left in Housekeeping Office upon finding. 

· Uphold the hotel's confidentiality and security standards.

Job Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Previous experience in laundry, dry cleaning, or housekeeping preferred

· Ability to stand for long periods

· Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

· Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

· Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment

· Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

· Customer-oriented and friendly

· Prioritization and time management skills

· Working quickly without compromising quality

· Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if required

· Attention to detail

· Professional attitude is required

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to follow instructions and procedures

· Excellent organizational and team management skills

· Knowledge of English language
