Job Summary:**
The Jr. Microbiologist will perform routine microbiological analyses on various samples according to established laboratory procedures and quality standards. This entry-level position supports the microbiology team in ensuring accurate and timely testing results for ALS Testing Services India Private Limited.
Job Experience -between 0-4 years
Job Responsibilities:**
* Prepare media, reagents, and samples for microbiological testing.
* Perform aseptic techniques for sample handling and inoculation.
* Conduct standard microbiological tests like BET, Bioburden, MLT, Sterility, Environment monitoring
* Perform daily calibrations and media preparations
* Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
* Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
* Participate in equipment calibration and maintenance schedules.
* Report any deviations or anomalies to senior microbiologists.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
* Basic understanding of microbiological principles and laboratory techniques.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
* Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in spoken and written English.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Prior laboratory experience (academic or industrial) is a plus.
* Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards is desirable.
