Are you ready to lead a team that plays a critical role in delivering extraordinary events? The Expo Group is seeking a Carpet Department Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Carpet Department, ensuring inventory is prepared, maintained, and staged to support event schedules. Based in Irving, Texas, this on-site leadership role combines hands-on operational support with team supervision to deliver quality, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Carpet Department while leading and supporting Carpet Associates.
  • Plan and forecast carpet inventory to meet upcoming event requirements and coordinate with Project Managers.
  • Oversee carpet preparation, inspection, cleaning, repair, staging, and inventory management.
  • Maintain quality standards by inspecting carpet inventory and ensuring assets are properly tracked and stored.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while identifying opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
What You Bring to The Expo Group:
  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of warehouse, flooring, carpet, or event operations experience; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Credentials: Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred. Forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification after hire.
  • Key Skills: Inventory planning, warehouse operations, team leadership, quality control, communication, problem-solving, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
  • This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting carpet rolls and related materials. Candidates must be comfortable operating forklifts and working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, and other warehouse conditions.
