Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Shreveport, LA area. This is a first & second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Layout, fit, align, and secure metal parts for assembly
- Prepare metal surfaces by removing rust, slag, grease, and contaminants
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, Plasma, Resistance, and Submerged Arc welding
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Bolt, rivet, and assemble structural steel components as required
- Grind, chip, clean, and finish welds using hand and power tools
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, squares, rulers, and tape measures to ensure accuracy
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld specifications
Requirements
- Must have weld inspection certifications
- All PPE
