Role Summary
Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, collaborating with the Cost Controller, Senior Accountant and Tax Manager, this role will assume administrative and basic tax and accounting tasks assigned by project, which will be intended to execute the simplest accounting and tax duties of specific and temporal projects.The Finance Intern will support in administrative and basic tasks such as accounting and tax controls, integration of files with transactions duly supported, custom files updating, bank reconciliations for tax and finance purposes, integration of permanent tax files, or any other similar projects, in accordance with Finance policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Keep updated all tax filing controls established by the tax management.
- Bank reconciliation for finance and tax purposes for the project period.
- Complete and/or update accounting and tax templates for the project period.
- Various other ad-hoc duties according to the assigned project.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Ensuring adherence to Borr Code of Conduct and Special Ethics obligations.
- POB reconciliation of consolidated report (weekly basis).
- Ad-hoc cost reconciliation for all rigs every month end (recurrent accruals).
- Gather supporting documentation for internal and external invoices.
- Suppliers SoA reconciliations.
- Coding supplier invoices into the system.
- Payment application into the system.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACA/ACCA or CPA qualified preferred.
- Prior accounting experience preferred
- Ability to plan and achieve deadlines
