Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Inpatient Registered Dietitian to join our UCHealth Southern Region Dietitian Team, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Southern Region includes Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, and Grandview Hospital which is ~600 beds.  

Memorial Hospital Central has a Level 1 Trauma designation along with other national certifications including stroke, cardiovascular and orthopedic care.

What You'll Do

• In this role, the selected candidate will provide nutrition care to patients with a variety of disease states on the inpatient acute care units (nutrition support experience preferred)
• Engage in physician and multidisciplinary team rounding on patient care units
• Educate health care team members, including physicians, nurses, and food service staff
• Work a rotating weekend/holiday schedule

What You Bring

• A Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian eligible credential with experience in acute care (nutrition support experience preferred)
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, customer, and time management skills
• Skills to Successfully thrive in a high energy and demanding environment and be flexible and able to adapt to a changing patient population
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
