Vendor Asset Specialist - Photo Studio - New York, NY

Job Description

A vendor asset specialist is responsible for obtaining and managing image assets and product attributes for all items available on Nordstrom.com. The ideal vendor asset specialist is efficient, detail oriented, has strong prioritization skills and can work in a team environment as well as independently to solve problems.

A day in the life…

• Partner with internal and external vendors to acquire all samples, assets and product attributes for Nordstrom.com
• Build strong business partnerships and provide consistent and comprehensive status updates to key business partners: Buying Office, Site Merchandising, Photo Studio and Marketing
• Attend planning meetings and coordinate the movement of samples for the purposes of Catalog, Editorial Site or E-mail content and Social Media projects
• Collaborate with the Operations teams to ensure the creative process is completed by the intended sell date
• Prepare all items for copywriters by processing product attributes data
• Review operating practices and procedures, determine whether improvements can be made and work to implement changes as appropriate

You own this if you have…

• 2+ years of experience in fashion retail work or related degree
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure all deadlines are met
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to learn necessary software applications
• Nordstrom and/or management experience (preferred)

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$27.50 - $44.00 Hourly
