Role Overview
This co-op position is part of the Value Realization Office (VRO) within Corporate Real Estate (CRE). CRE is responsible for the spaces Sun Life employees occupy, and the VRO helps advance strategic initiatives, improve ways of working, support governance and reporting, and enable measurable value across CRE projects and priorities.
The Project Management Coordinator will support the VRO and CRE by coordinating project information, strengthening tools and processes, preparing clear reporting and communications, and helping CRE teams demonstrate progress, adoption and value realization. This opportunity is well suited to a highly organized, curious student who wants practical experience in project management, governance, process improvement and business value delivery.
Key Accountabilities
Project Coordination and Delivery Support
- Assist with project intake, tracking, reporting and follow-up for VRO initiatives, project requests, action items and value realization activities.
- Coordinate assigned deliverables, maintain action logs and follow up on next steps to help initiatives move forward.
- Help prepare meeting agendas, meeting notes, presentations, status updates and other project materials.
- Support CRE initiatives intended to improve cost optimization, service excellence, process consistency, employee experience and measurable business value.
Governance, Tools and Process Improvement
- Assist in developing, documenting and continuously improving tools, templates and processes that support VRO and CRE project delivery.
- Contribute to opportunities that strengthen governance, simplify processes and improve consistency across CRE.
- Help document ways of working, decisions, lessons learned and recommendations that support continuous improvement.
Reporting, Measurement and Value Realization
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics that demonstrate project progress, performance, adoption and value realization outcomes.
- Support the collection, organization and quality review of project and performance information.
- Help connect project activities to intended outcomes and identify opportunities to improve how value is tracked and communicated.
Learning, Communications and Adoption Support
- Prepare training resources, communications and practical guidance that support adoption of VRO processes and ways of working.
- Support file management, knowledge sharing and organization of VRO documentation to improve accessibility and team effectiveness.
- Assist team members in using Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint and other applicable collaboration and reporting platforms.
Digital Enterprise Ways of Working
- Support and champion collaboration, transparency, agile practices and continuous learning.
- Work effectively with cross-functional partners while independently managing assigned tasks and priorities.
Capabilities and Experience
Skills and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take ownership of deliverables, track action items, follow up on commitments and manage assigned work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with an interest in preparing clear reports, presentations, dashboards and communications.
- Curiosity and business acumen, with the ability to understand priorities, connect work to outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and methodical, with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and adapt as priorities change.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
