Absence and Disability Specialist – hybrid

Bethpage, NY client seeks an Absence and Disability Specialist contractor to work on day to day absence management functions. Involves interaction with vendors, United Review, MetLife and Liberty Mutual.

• Corresponding with employees and managers on status of leaves, time coding questions, etc.
• Computer savvy, able to navigate Excel and assist with improving current processes
• Assist with consolidating information from existing records into new file feed format

 
***Work location: Hybrid (virtual and up to 3 days a week in person as needed)

• Melville, NY office location starting January 2027 *pending facility readiness

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• Experience in Talent Acquisition preferred
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
• Must have strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Must be organized, high-energy and have a strong attention to detail
