CDL-A Dedicated Local Live-Haul Driver | Selbyville, DE Hub | Home Daily | Up to $75,000/Yr

Annual Compensation: $75,000 average annual gross ($0.50 – $0.52 CPM)
Sign-On Incentive: $7,500 Total Bonus Payout (limited-time availability)
Home Time Schedule: Local Home Daily (Mon – Fri schedule | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM start window)
Experience Mandate: Minimum 3 months Class-A tractor-trailer time in the last 6 months
- Overview: Secure an open day-cab seat on a steady, high-paying local agricultural route dispatching directly out of the Selbyville hub. Transport live poultry within a tight 300-mile regional radius, returning home to your own bed after every shift.
- Pay Scale & Sign-On Incentive: Earn an average annual income of $75,000 plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes $0.50 to $0.52 CPM, $46–$47 live stop pay, $15/hr detention pay (after 2 hours), and $250/day holiday pay. Paid orientation and safety training pays $250/day ($20/hr).
- Routine & Freight Specifications: Move live poultry on 45'–48' flatbed trailers from local farm sites straight to the Selbyville processing facility. Log roughly 1,024 miles, 15 loads, and 20 stops per week. Driver Responsibility: Secure cage loads on flatbeds using a cheater bar at farm pickups. Equipment includes clean automatic day cabs.
- Schedule & Major Holidays Off: Operates Monday through Friday with afternoon dispatch slots starting between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM (requires 1–2 Saturdays per month). Guaranteed OFF for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day!
- Qualifications & Screening: Requires at least 3 months of verifiable Class-A experience within the past 6 months (live-haul experience preferred, but not required). Clean results on mandatory pre-employment dual-panel hair follicle and urine toxicology screens are strictly required.
