Perm Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Role & Work Environment:

• Position Title: Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray (Permanent, Varied Shifts).
• Primary Setting: Mobile healthcare services delivering portable X-Ray and EKG testing directly to nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare locations.

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Shift Type: Varied Shifts (AM/PM rotations).
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts.
• Work Schedule: Thursday through Monday.
• Weekend Requirement: Weekend coverage required.
• On-Call Requirement: Yes (details discussed during interview).

Core Responsibilities & Daily Tasks:

• Portable Imaging: Safely load/unload portable X-Ray equipment, transport units into facilities, and perform diagnostic examinations using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
• Interpretation Transmission: Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-Ray images and securely transmit them to a Radiologist for formal interpretation.
• Diagnostic Testing: Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Documentation & Logistics: Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per established protocols.
• Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain assigned transport vehicles and portable X-Ray equipment in proper working order.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management; interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and facility clients.

Requirements & Submission:

• Licensure & Certification:
  • Active ARRT Certification [REQUIRED].
  • Active State License [REQUIRED] (Note: Limited licenses are not accepted).
• Driver’s License: Valid state driver’s license in good standing at all times [REQUIRED].
• Health & Compliance: Mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 (or approved medical/religious exemption documentation submitted) [REQUIRED].
