Are you an experienced collections professional who excels at negotiating payment solutions and achieving performance goals? We especially value candidates with strong experience in student loan collections and/or purchased debt. Candidates with other collections experience are also encouraged to apply, along with qualified customer service, call center, and sales professionals ready to build their careers in collections.

Health coverage begins on the first day of the month following your hire date, or immediately if hired on the first day of the month.

What You'll Do

• Contact customers by phone regarding outstanding balances and repayment options.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
• Assess customers' financial situations and identify appropriate repayment solutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements, settlements, and hardship options within established guidelines.
• Build rapport through professional, empathetic, and solution-focused conversations.
• Maintain accurate account documentation after every customer interaction.
• Meet performance goals related to quality, productivity, customer engagement, and collections.
• Follow all company policies and regulatory requirements while protecting confidential customer information.

Qualifications

Top Priority: Student Loan & Purchased Debt Collections

• Strong experience in student loan collections and/or purchased debt.
• Familiarity with payment negotiations, repayment arrangements, and account resolution.

Second Priority: Other Collections Experience

• At least 12 months of collections experience.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements and manage customer accounts professionally.

Additional Candidates: Customer-Facing Experience

• At least 12 months of experience in customer service, call center operations, sales, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation to achieve goals and succeed in a performance-driven environment.

All candidates should demonstrate professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle challenging customer conversations.
