As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Information Desk in Quakertown, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)All candidates must possess a valid driver's license that meets the requirements outlined in the AU Driver Policy (C123). This includes:

• A current and valid driver's license issued by the relevant Australian authority.
• No significant traffic violations or suspensions on the driving record.
• Compliance with any additional requirements specified in the AU Driver Policy.

Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license that is recognized in the state where the job will be performed, as per the In Job State policy (C124). This includes:

• A current and valid driver's license issued by the state authority where the candidate will be employed.
• Adherence to state-specific driving regulations and requirements.
• Verification of the license status prior to employment commencement.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Familiarity with alarm panel operations is required for certain positions.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks.

• CPR Certification (B205)Candidates are required to obtain CPR certification. Allioed Universal will provide free training for this certification.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)A background in customer service is essential for roles that involve direct interaction with clients.

• Loss Prevention (B210)Experience or knowledge in loss prevention strategies is preferred for relevant positions.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage visitor and driver check-in and check-out processes, verify identification and access authorization, and maintain required visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor access, and site communications while following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with access control, badge issuance, package and delivery coordination, and other security-related front desk duties to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
