In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives

Job Family Definition:

Provides relevant, timely, and accurate financial information for financial planning, decision-making, control and risk management, and internal and external performance measurement. Works with Finance and Information Technology to design, construct, and implement financial and business processes and systems requirements globally such as a new reporting system. Develops design requirements for implementing new systems. Determines type of functionality needed in a new system (e.g., designating the business required documents in implementing a new reimbursement policy). Implements processes and tools that support efficiency initiatives.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

• Manages the implementation of reporting solutions from end to end.
• Maintains and publishes existing reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Drives reporting innovation by identifying and implementing more efficient, automated, and scalable approaches to report creation, maintenance, and distribution.
• Partners with internal customers, examining moderately to highly complex issues or concerns to find a solution.
• Leads and/or provides subject matter expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
• Applies advanced subject matter expertise to assess business needs and identify opportunities to deliver value.
• Resolves moderately complex issues involving multiple systems.
• Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned processes and activities.
• Solves most problems independently and articulates issues across functions and businesses, collaborating with other individuals contributors, sometimes outside of the job family, to bring about solutions.
• Develops risk mitigation plans to support effective execution and improve business outcomes.
• Identifies and implements process improvement.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree with a focus in finance or computer science; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 8+ years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies that support reporting, data analysis, report development and process automation.
• Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to synthesize change quickly using advanced subject and process knowledge.
• Strong understanding of C&C financial systems and processes.
• Ability to generate original ideas and to bring about their implementation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Expert understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong project management skills for running large, complex projects.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
