The Role
WisdomAI is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (4+ years) to join its founding engineering team. You will touch every part of the codebase and product, working closely with engineers, product, the co-founders and customers in a high-agency environment.
What You Will Do
- Build and scale large data pipelines for latency-critical analytical workloads.
- Work across the whole codebase and product rather than a single silo.
- Define the product and engineering roadmap with the co-founders, product and customers.
- Design cost-efficient, secure and highly scalable systems on modern cloud infrastructure.
- Help shape the engineering culture and tech stack.
What You Bring
- 4+ years as a backend engineer
- Large-scale data pipelines or latency-sensitive systems
- Strong Python (Rust a plus)
- Cloud infrastructure design experience
Nice to Have
- Analytics, BI or query-engine experience
- Early-stage startup experience
