Job Description

As a Security Officer Premier Corporate Insurance in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge access activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
