As a Security Officer Full-Time Unarmed in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will support a secure environment through attentive observation and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
