Veterinarian (Small Animal Practice) – Peterborough, NH
This opportunity is for an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role focuses on providing high-quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The veterinarian will have access to experienced support staff, modern equipment, mentorship, and opportunities for continued professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness, preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets.
- Communicate medical recommendations and educate clients regarding treatment and preventive care.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians, client service staff, and practice leadership.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Follow applicable veterinary standards, regulations, and practice protocols.
- Participate in continued learning and professional development.
- Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Active New Hampshire veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
- DEA registration or ability to obtain.
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to veterinary care.
- Strong communication and client-education skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a veterinary team.
- Commitment to continued professional growth and high-quality patient care.
