The Wacol Fulfilment Centre is looking for a Pallet Controller. This is a Monday to Friday role based at our Wacol site

We provide an adult pay rate for 18 years of age and above at $28.64 per hour for this role.

Our Supply Chain network plays a vital role in supporting our stores and customers. By effectively managing pallets, crates and other Unit Load Devices (ULDs), we help ensure products move safely, efficiently and on time throughout our network. Working together, we support our stores, deliver better outcomes for our customers and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

About the role

As a Pallet Controller, you'll help keep our supply chain moving by ensuring pallets are accurately tracked, managed and accounted for across our Distribution Centre network. Working closely with operational teams and suppliers, you'll investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate pallet records and support the efficient flow of pallets throughout the network. With a focus on accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement, you'll play a key role in helping our stores and customers get what they need, when they need it.

What’s involved:

  • Managing the day-to-day movement and control of pallets across our Distribution Centre network.
  • Monitoring pallet balances and transactions to help maintain accurate records and minimise loss.
  • Investigating pallet discrepancies and working with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support the efficient flow and recovery of pallets.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve pallet processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring pallet activities are completed in line with company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Using pallet management systems to track, analyse and report on pallet movements and performance.

You will need

  • Experience within pallet control, logistics, supply chain or inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience using systems and data to monitor performance and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for finding more efficient ways of working.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical and enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. You'll be a proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail, comfortable working with data and systems to identify trends and resolve issues. Most importantly, you'll be a collaborative team player who takes ownership of their work, values strong relationships and is always looking for opportunities to improve processes and deliver better outcomes for the business.

When you’re ready to give this opportunity a Red Hot Go, all you’ll need to do is:

  • Submit an application and complete an online chat interview (20 minutes)

  • If successful, next step includes an online video interview (15 minutes)

  • If you’re a match, we’ll invite you to an onsite meet and greet with our leaders (20 minutes)

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.

We love the diversity across our teams, brought together in an inclusive culture guided by our values. We welcome applications from individuals of all ages, cultural backgrounds, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply and join us in shaping a workplace that celebrates First Nations voices, perspectives, and contributions.
