Mendix Developer Consultant

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Mendix Developer for a consultancy mission at a client site. The objective of this mission is to modernize an existing legacy application developed in Adobe ColdFusion, consisting of over 150,000 lines of code and approximately 20 modules, into a future-proof low-code platform. This application supports file management, data processing, and reporting through a collaborative architecture of various components.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum Mendix Advanced Developer or equivalent experience.
• Develop user stories.
• Modify and expand AI-generated components.
• Develop screens, microflows, and integrations.
• Conduct unit testing.

The proposed approach must utilize modern techniques for application modernization, ensuring that existing source code, business logic, and application structures are thoroughly analyzed, valued, and reused to enhance migration efficiency and quality. Candidates are required to submit a vision document of up to 4 A4 pages outlining their approach, incorporating innovative and automated migration methodologies that leverage artificial intelligence, code analysis, and/or model-driven development, demonstrating a faster, qualitative, and verifiable migration of the existing application. The proposed solution must have been successfully applied in a completed or ongoing project.

This project will be executed in three phases to evenly distribute the investment over three budget years. Each phase will be ordered separately, and the order of one phase does not entitle the contractor to the order or execution of subsequent phases. Each phase will deliver a standalone deliverable that can be utilized independently of the yet-to-be-developed phases.

The assignment will be awarded based on the price and skills of the candidates. Profiles must have knowledge of and access to the proposed solution(s) in the vision document.
