Perform maintenance on all overhead cranes in the facility.
Responsibilities
- Rotating shift work including nights and weekends
- Electrical trouble shooting and repair
- Basic PLC trouble shooting
- Knowledge of AC inverters
- Ability to read prints & schematics
- Welding, cutting and fabrication
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Work with operations and maintenance groups to ensure continued production
- Good computer skills (Experience with computerized maintenance management system a plus)
- Outstanding work record.
- Good physical condition
- Must be willing to work unscheduled overtime when required due to breakdowns & outages.
Qualifications
- Safety oriented
- Prior electrical maintenance is necessary
- Strong teamwork focus
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior Knowledge of the use of fall restraint devices
- Strong willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills including ability to log activities in a database.
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize work assignments with production needs
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner.
