Description
Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and Risk related to inspection activities on Machines and during Assembly
Knowledge about Risk related to chemical management related to Nondestructive testing and able to interpret MSDS related to associated chemicals.
Knowledge in CNC machines – like heavy boring and milling machines, Horizontal and vertical turning machines, Gantry type milling/turning machines like PAMA, HNK, Waco etc
Basic knowledge of Siemens CNC 840 D-SL (Encoder, LMS, Backup and restore of data, Basic CNC commissioning and maintenance) and Siemens S7 PLC.
knowledge of field instruments like RTD, Thermocouple, Flow meter, Pressure transmitter, Proximity switch etc.
Experience in EOT Crane maintenance and Fabrication equipment such as Welding machine, Shot blasting, Electric Furnace. knowledge of VFD, Air Compressor and other utility system
Basic knowledge in Power system network ( 66kv / 11kv/ 415V) with Transformers, Circuit breakers and protection system.
Breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance of all the equipment and maintaining their records and history card in all 3 shifts.
Spare part management and vendor development.
knowledge of electrical safety and LOTO procedure.
Familiar with Maintenance KPI (Uptime, MTBF, MTTR)
Experience in problem solving tools
Knowledge on TPM
Record keeping of Machine history in CMMS.
Basic knowledge of Nuclear Safety
Basic Qualifications (requirements):
B.E. In Electrical / Electronic with 4+ Years’ Experience
Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with 6+ Years’ experience.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Maintenance of Machine tools with CNC system Siemens CNC 840 D-SL.
Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC , read and modify PLC logic.
Knowledge of Fabrication shop Equipment.
Maintenance EOT Cranes
Knowledge of ERP / SAP
