Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Monitor and optimize electrical grid performance to ensure reliable power distribution.
• Design, review, and support electrical distribution networks and related infrastructure.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of smart grid technologies and smart metering systems.
• Support renewable energy integration, including solar grid connectivity and sustainable energy initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA's engineering, safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct technical analysis, troubleshooting, and performance assessments for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and project updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems.
• Knowledge of smart grid technologies, renewable energy integration, and electrical safety standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
  • Power Distribution
  • Smart Metering
  • Smart Grid Technologies
  • Solar Grid Integration
  • Electrical Utility Operations
