As a Healthcare Screener with Allied Universal, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff, support access screening procedures, and provide clear, compassionate communication in a medical setting. You will help maintain a secure environment, identify and report security-related concerns, and deliver service with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen individuals entering designated healthcare areas in accordance with established visitor access, identification, and screening requirements.
- Verify visitor credentials and/or authorization, provide directions, and communicate applicable facility entry procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
- Document screening activities, unusual occurrences, and/or incidents in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- Must have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
