Description
Client is seeking a Salesforce Platform Product Owner to drive the strategic health, security posture, and architectural evolution of our enterprise Salesforce footprint spanning FPL, FPLES, NEER, and Everbright. This role operates at the intersection of platform governance, operational risk, and continuous delivery — owning the Salesforce platform as a product with a bias for proactive management, compliance, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Platform Health
- Own the technical health roadmap across all NEE Salesforce orgs, monitoring and resolving Apex performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and platform limit risks before they impact operations
- Partner with Salesforce Signature Success and internal engineering squads to prioritize and resolve critical platform issues with accountability and urgency
- Establish org-level health KPIs and drive continuous improvement across asynchronous processing, callout latency, and database efficiency
Security & Controls
- Lead NEE's response to Salesforce security enforcement changes, including MFA mandates, phishing-resistant authentication, email domain verification, and transaction security policy enhancements
- Maintain a current controls posture aligned with SOX compliance, auditability, and NEE's enterprise risk framework
- Serve as the primary liaison to Salesforce Security and internal Cybersecurity teams for incident response and threat landscape awareness
Architecture & Feature Confluence
- Govern the lifecycle of platform features across all NEE Salesforce orgs, ensuring timely adoption of evolving platform capabilities and proactive retirement of deprecated features
- Drive architectural standards across managed/unmanaged packages, permission set design, integration patterns, and Data Cloud deployment practices
Champion spec-driven, governance-first delivery practices in alignment with NEE's Software Reliability Framework and Accelerated Delivery Office (ADO) standards
