Purchasing Support Associate

## What you’ll do:

Job Summary

Supports the purchasing funtion by processing purchase order, following up on supplier deliveries, expediting orders, following up on supplier deliveries, expediting materials, and maintaining accurate purchasing information. Works closely with suppliers and internal stakehoulders to ensure timely material availability while supporting day to day procurement activities. Assists in resolving routine supply issues, mantaining supplier communications, and contributing to continuos improvement initiatives

Job Responsibilities

A. Supports purchasing activities by processing purchase orders, following up with suppliers, and assisting in the timely procurement of materials and services.

B. Maintains effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to monitor deliveries, resolve routine issues, and ensure material availability.

C. Assists in expediting purchase orders and follows up on supplier commitments to support production and business requirements.

D. Maintains accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement data in SAP and other business systems.

E. Supports basic analysis of supplier performance, purchasing data, and inventory trends to identify improvement opportunities.

F. Comply with the responsibilities of the position in relation to all management systems (MESH, LEAN, EQS, eMMAc, EBE, ISO).

## Qualifications:

Education level required / Nivel educativo requerido

Technical Degree or universitary studies in Supply Chain, customs, administration, industrial production or a related field

Years and area of experience / Años y área de experiencia requerida

1 year

Technical knowledge / Conocimientos técnicos

Intermediate English (Written and verbal)

Computer skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
