Join our Azule ARC Team and advance your career as a Tax Compliance Senior Analyst!
This position is a fixed-term contract until November 2028!
The Tax Compliance Senior Analyst role has the primary responsibility to ensure that we manage, control and develop our operations in a “process designed” manner to deliver value to the Azule business. A core part of this responsibility includes:
Support the delivery of direct and indirect tax compliance activities for a designated region/country, ensuring accurate financial reporting, journal processing, and adherence to established controls and policies.
Partner closely with Tax SMEs and business stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues, maintain process integrity, and drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation across tax processes.
Contribute to operational excellence by supporting audits, ensuring compliance with performance metrics and governance standards, and providing tax expertise to enable efficient and compliant business operations.
In this role You will:
Establish strong relationship with business partners to ensure smooth operations and successful delivery
Develop good working relationships both internally and externally at peer level and represents the GBS Tax Team both to internal and external collaborators.
Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and other key stakeholders of the company.
Perform the tax coding of the assigned vendor invoices on a regular basis and effectively
Cooperate with all the departments responsible for Tax activities (including business and GBSE colleagues)
Assemble tax activity related input information from key collaborators
Understand, support and adhere to the company’s health and safety policies, programs and procedures by communicating and promoting health and safety awareness to coworkers and subordinates.
Support on the period end closing activities that are in direct or indirect connection with tax activities
Documentation and maintenance of Tax related standards and desktop procedures, standard operation procedures (SOPs)
Support the standardization of the tax processes and controls across Azule
Proactively support the implementation of process enhancements which are required to achieve or improve compliance with applicable regulation.
Actively contributes to continuous improvement including standardization, efficiency, and simplification, by finding opportunities within own work.
Support Business clients in understanding the imact of the Tax processes on their General Ledger and Reporting activities
Work with the Internal Control team to design, implement and operate control activities to meet the control objectives identified regarding the Tax activities
Support external and internal audits
Providing deep “process domain expertise” for the relevant process to support operations delivery, silent running, quality management and control
Support Delivery in line with finance service centre strategy to meet agreed Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators, targets and budgets.
Support validations / reconciliations for company codes supported (especially follow up on failed reconciliations / validations)
Resolve queries and issues as they arise typically directly with the Country Tax teams
Work with the Country Finance / tax teams to understand priorities and work to deliver against these as required
Work to be carried out in accordance with the timetables ensuring proper documentation on process activities performed and data used / created
Look for opportunities to improve the team’s processes to create efficiencies and control improvements with regard to general process matters, works with extended Leadership Team on assigned projects
What You will need to be successful:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proven professional experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (eg.: in related Direct and Indirect Tax Accounting and Reporting area)
Significant experience of managing medium scale operations.
Demonstrated end to end process expertise in Tax area
Absolute fluency in Business English
Problem solver, with readiness for action
Self-confident appearance in relations to the internal and external contacts
Strong communication and cooperation skills
Assertiveness and ability to influence
Works as an integrated part of the team: strives to achieve individual objectives and the team targets
