Description
Earn an average of $1,260 to $1,575 per week without pulling or unloading freight. We have immediate openings for local Class A drivers on a dedicated distribution fleet based out of Shafter, CA. Drive reliable routes, get home daily, and enjoy full W-2 benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport dry van and refrigerated freight from the Shafter DC to retail locations across Southern California.
- Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift and return to the DC on a dedicated backhaul route.
- Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety checks.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and DOT compliance.
Schedule & Fleet Details:
- Home Time: Home daily.
- Days Off: 2 consecutive days off per week (e.g., Mon/Tue, Tue/Wed, Wed/Thu, or Thu/Fri).
- Start Times: Afternoon/Evening dispatch windows (3:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
- Equipment: Modern automatic trucks; slip-seat operation parked on-site at the DC.
Qualifications:
- Class A CDL with at least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Must live within 50 miles of the Shafter, CA terminal.
- Clean driving record and acceptable safety history.
Compensation & Perks:
- $1,260 – $1,575 average weekly pay.
