As a Chapter Lead, you will build and maintain high-performing software engineering team in DTC Łódź, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and standards. Act as the primary liaison among DTC Łódź, DTC Sofia and German team, facilitating clear and effective communication.

Manage software development projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Identify and resolve technical and managerial challenges, maintaining smooth operations within the team. Foster a collaborative work environment that respects and integrates the diverse cultural backgrounds of the German, Polish and Bulgarian teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

· Lead and manage a team of approximately 30 employees based in Łódź.

· Recruit and onboard new team members.

· Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings.

· Manage team performance and provide feedback and coaching.

· Built and foster an innovative cluster culture

· Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project scopes and goals.

· Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members based on project requirements.

· Identify training needs within the team and facilitate skill enhancement.

· Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in software development. Utilize effective personnel management tools and strategies.

· Serve as a role model for agile methodologies, emphasizing customer-centric and service-focused approaches.

· Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements and promote awareness of compliance-related issues among staff.

Technical and Delivery Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of Strategic Initiative projects in Commerzbank Delivery Organization.

· Attend various meetings to stay aligned with project goals and team collaboration.

· Negotiation of project scope with customers and managing deliveries.

· Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients to understand and meet their needs and requirements.

· Strong understanding of state of the art – technologie (AI, Cloud, automatization)

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in driving and implementing future-proof technologies, specifically AI, Generative AI, and Data Science.
• ​Proven track record in the consulting sector, preferably as an Inhouse Consultant or strategic business partner.
• ​Strong capability to understand internal clients' demands and systematically translate them into high-performing technical teams.
• ​Demonstrated experience in attracting, scaling, and mentoring highly specialized tech talents (e.g., Data Scientists, AI Engineers).
• ​Experience in building scalable AI/ML solutions within enterprise or regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery as well as employee satisfaction
• Ability to inspire and motivate
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Awareness of and adherence to compliance regulations.
• Understanding of the financial industry.
• Experience in German companies is a plus.
