The main goal of this role is to be a strategic partner to our customers/KAMs to give reliable and consumer-oriented recommendations for Pastry category resulting in total category growth. This role supports Category & Customer Insights team in on-going projects and activations with analytical assignments and projects.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Build long-term relationships with key customers through strong business recommendations proven by sales results
• Convince key customers to adapt/change their way of doing business in line with MDLZ recommendations
• Conduct Nielsen/Customer data analysis – repetitive reports refreshment & appropriate data maintenance
• Support Category & Customers Insight team in administrative work and daily topics
• Lead category management agenda for Pastry:
• Perform deep analysis of brand performance and develop expertise within market drivers and trends
• Identify business opportunities and prepare sales recommendations based on channel and customer specifics including company's priorities per category
• Be a partner for customers' internal processes, i.e. preparing the analytical data with recommendations for workshops, portfolio review processes with customers, and preparing planograms
• Develop and implement shelf building programs (managing external agencies to deliver expected outcomes)
• Closely cooperate with all other key MDLZ business functions (Finance, Marketing, Category Development, Shopper Insights)

What you will bring

•  University degree
•  Minimum 2-year experience in FMCG or consulting company, category management (Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Analytical departments)
• Experience in Category Management is highly preferred
• Persuasiveness, communication, negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and presentation skills and ability to sell ideas
• Very good communication of English and Polish (both written and spoken)
• High business acumen, learning agility, result orientation
• Advanced Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Familiarity with market data and tools: Nielsen is a must. Spaceman, Focus, GfK would be an advantage
