Utility Technician
Location: BD Tuas Plant, Singapore

As a Utility Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our production operations by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, helping our manufacturing teams deliver critical medical devices that make a difference to patients' lives.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the smooth running of our manufacturing operations by:
Supporting daily material issuance, replenishment, and inventory activities based on production schedules.
Ensuring uninterrupted production by maintaining the timely flow of components and raw materials to manufacturing lines.
Preparing and transferring finished goods and production materials between manufacturing and warehouse areas.
Verifying the accuracy and approval status of all materials issued to production.
Managing inventory transactions, cycle counts, variance investigations, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Monitoring and maintaining label control processes to ensure compliance and traceability.
Returning excess materials from completed production runs and supporting material recovery activities.
Monitoring safety stock levels and initiating replenishment requests when required.
Participating in shift handovers, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Upholding BD's commitment to workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related environments is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Basic computer and inventory management skills.
A proactive mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
