Position Overview:

You will serve as an HR partner supporting recruitment, employee relations, training, compensation, benefits, and HR programs, with a primary focus on supporting second shift operations. In this role, you will work closely with employees, supervisors, and managers to provide guidance on HR policies, processes, and employment-related matters while helping ensure consistent and effective workforce practices. You will contribute to employee engagement, support talent acquisition efforts, and assist with the administration of key HR programs and initiatives. You will also help maintain accurate HR records and reporting to support business needs and compliance requirements. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on workforce effectiveness, employee experience, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with supervisors and managers to support recruiting activities, conduct interviews, and implement staffing strategies.

  • Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, employee relations matters, and workplace concerns.

  • Recommend and support corrective actions and disciplinary processes while ensuring consistent application of company policies.

  • Deliver training and communication related to HR programs, benefits, policies, and employment processes.

  • Assist with the development, coordination, and delivery of new employee orientation and training programs.

  • Support employees and managers with benefit and compensation-related inquiries.

  • Maintain regular communication with employees to foster positive employee relations and engagement.

  • Counsel employees on job responsibilities, career development opportunities, benefits programs, and employment-related topics.

  • Conduct exit interviews and complete required documentation associated with employee separations.

  • Maintain HR records, job descriptions, employee relations documentation, and related reporting to support operational and compliance needs.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams and HR initiatives that support departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using HRIS systems or related HR software.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work effectively.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with employees and leaders across all levels of the organization.
