Please note: This position will be based in Nyíregyháza and will operate on a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Relocation support is not offered for this role. Please apply with an English CV.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the Injection Moulding manufacturing area of approximately 200 employees through 8 direct-report Shift Leaders.
Own the operational performance of the area and deliver on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) targets.
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards.
Ensure efficient execution of the production plan while maximizing productivity, quality, and customer service.
Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead efficiency improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, increase productivity, and improve operational performance.
Facilitate structured problem solving and root cause analysis using Lean methodologies.
Develop and coach Shift Leaders, building leadership capability and supporting succession planning.
Create an engaged, high-performing organization through effective performance management and employee development.
Collaborate closely with peer leaders across Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Supply Chain, HR, and EHS to achieve plant objectives.
Build strong partnerships within a functionally organized organization, promoting teamwork and shared accountability.
Participate in global manufacturing networks, sharing best practices and implementing global standards.
Monitor operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Lead manufacturing-related projects supporting operational excellence and strategic business objectives.
Report directly to the Senior Director Manufacturing, providing regular updates on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.

Do you have what it takes
Some years of experience in operational/manufacturing roles
Leadership experience and ability to coach and motivate a team - if in an injection moulding environment advantageous
Knowledge of injection moulding machines and processes would be an advantage
High level of communication and collaboration skills
Ability to present and convince senior stakeholders, peers as well as colleagues on the shop floor
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of LEAN principles is an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – advantage: SAP knowledge
Hungarian and English: Advanced level (C1)
