Cincinnati Children’s is looking for a Patient Representative II to support patient access work at the Wilmington location. This role helps patients and families move through registration, scheduling, and related front-end processes with accuracy, care, and clear communication.
Work Environment
Wilmington location.
Full-time 1.0 schedule.
One late night per week from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a Saturday rotation from 8:00 a.m. to noon every three weeks.
What You Will Do
Register and schedule patients for inpatient and outpatient services.
Assist patients, families, staff, and external agencies with accurate patient registration, admission, and scheduling.
Investigate and resolve customer requests, questions, or routine problems using CCHMC policies and procedures.
Support revenue cycle, health information management, and regulatory needs by obtaining and entering accurate information and forms.
Complete and authenticate documents and questionnaires needed for regulatory compliance.
Support patient safety by helping identify the correct patient, special needs, and isolation precautions when applicable.
Protect patient and family medical and financial information by following confidentiality and privacy expectations.

Ability to learn processes and systems while maintaining accuracy.
Customer service mindset and willingness to ask questions when something is unclear.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Helpful experience includes patient access, registration, scheduling, customer service, healthcare office support, or similar front-facing service work.
Experience working with families, patients, providers, or internal teams is helpful.
Candidates changing careers or early in their career may be considered when they show strong communication, reliability, and learning ability.
