OTIS Siège - Campus Arboretum - 1 place des Papeteries 92000 NANTERRE, FranceThe Western Europe MRO Category Lead is responsible for leading the sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization strategy for the Maintenance, Repair and Operations category across the Western Europe region. The role drives value creation through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance management, contract negotiations, and implementation of regional procurement projects that support business objectives and financial targets.
The position manages a regional spend portfolio of approximately USD 24-30 million and partners with business stakeholders to deliver sustainable cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with EMEA procurement objectives.
Lead sourcing events, tenders, supplier negotiations, and contract renewals across Western Europe.
Deliver annual savings targets through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, demand management, and commercial negotiations.
Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, scorecards, and corrective action plans.
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities across indirect spend categories.
Support regional deployment of EMEA strategic procurement initiatives and transformation projects.
Monitor spend, market trends, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Safety, Human Resources, and business leadership teams to align procurement activities with business priorities.
Provide governance and compliance oversight for contracts, sourcing processes, and supplier management activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, and value generation.

Experience and Qualifications
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain roles.
Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience.
Demonstrated success delivering cost savings and procurement transformation initiatives.
Experience managing suppliers across multiple countries and business environments.
Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to turn spend data into actionable sourcing strategies.
Experience working within a matrix organization and influencing senior stakeholders.
