Grampians Health (GH) and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) are working in collaboration to implement Victoria’s first shared patient record across rural, regional and metropolitan Victoria. The YourEMR Program aims to deliver a comprehensive digital patient record across ambulatory, inpatient and community services at both organisations. To achieve this, GH & SVHM will be employing an EMR program team to design, build and implement an EMR across both organisations.
About the Role
The Chief Allied Health Information Officer (CAHIO) will be responsible for the engagement of Allied Health staff in the establishment of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM).
In collaboration with Allied Health leadership, the CAHIO will assist supporting the Allied Health workforce in preparing for the implementation of an EMR, with a focus on workflow design, complex decision making and change management. The CAHIO will ensure the Allied Health workforce remain engaged throughout the duration of the YourEMR program and successfully adopt the new tools.
This is a Grade 4 Allied Health role.
Your Contribution
Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline;
Current AHPRA registration as an Allied Health professional;
Minimum 5 years working in a senior Allied Health role;
A sound understanding of Clinical Informatics and Analytics;
High-level analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); and
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
