Description
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming materials, equipment, parts, supplies, or merchandise against receiving documents and report discrepancies, shortages, overages, or obvious damage.
- Route materials to prescribed storage locations and store, stack, palletize, rearrange, or stage materials in accordance with established storage plans and prescribed storage methods.
- Receive, inspect, store, issue, pack, ship, and track equipment, repair parts, tools, supplies, training materials, fielding packages, and related mission support items.
- Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, stock location checks, and property accountability support to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Examine stored materials for deterioration, damage, or other issues and promptly report findings in accordance with program procedures.
- Remove materials from storage and prepare items for shipment, including packing, labeling, staging, and supporting shipping documentation.
- Support RMA processing, return shipments, material staging, fielding support, deprocessing, and equipment handoff activities.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, power trucks, and related material handling equipment when qualified and authorized.
- Maintain accurate warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material movement records using Government-approved systems, inventory management software, or program tracking tools.
- Coordinate with supply, logistics, maintenance, engineering, training, Government, OEM, and contractor personnel to meet mission requirements.
- Maintain clean, orderly, safe, and audit-ready warehouse areas.
- Follow applicable safety, security, CUI, property accountability, hazardous material, tool control, and program procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, property accountability, logistics support, or related functions.
- Experience receiving, storing, stacking, palletizing, staging, issuing, packing, shipping, and tracking equipment, parts, supplies, or technical materials.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience using inventory management software, barcode scanners, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, or related tracking tools.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and safely handle materials in accordance with workplace requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a logistics, warehouse, and maintenance support team.
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Ability to travel as required.
- HazMat awareness, DoD logistics experience, robotics sustainment experience, or Government contracting experience preferred.
