The Inventory Control Specialist - E-commerce is accountable for the daily cycle counting of finished goods, maintaining the organization of the warehouse, resolving inventory discrepancies, and assisting in order fulfillment as needed. The role necessitates proficiency in systems such as Outlook, Syteline, Excel, and Word to ensure accurate inventory information.

Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Inventory Management: Execute daily cycle counts of finished goods and organize the warehouse to facilitate efficient operations.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies to prevent operational disruptions.
- Data Management: Input and analyze inventory data and create reports to track product movement effectively.
- Returned Material Management: Oversee the return material inventory, including repacking, when required.
- Communication: Consistently inform the Inventory Manager of inventory-related issues and propose solutions.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while performing all duties.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all inventory processes are compliant with organizational standards and objectives. Perform periodic cycle counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies in collaboration with operations.
- Training: Participate in internal training initiatives related to inventory control.
- Other Duties: Fulfill other tasks as assigned, which may include supporting other warehouse functions.
Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to organize tasks, manage time, and prioritize responsibilities.
- Problem-solving: Proven competency in identifying and resolving problems independently.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate and navigate inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Communication: Verbal and written communication, capable of interacting with multiple levels of the company.
Education and Experience
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or warehouse operations and at least 1-2 years of specialized experience in order fulfillment or inventory management.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Mental/Physical Requirements
- Mobility: The role may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and frequent standing.
- Lifting: Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Adaptability: Must have the cognitive ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and environments.
