Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £140–£210 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term supply with potential permanent opportunity
Start Date: Immediate / September 2025
The Role
Local Education are working with a secondary school in Chelmsford who are seeking a Science Teacher to join them on a long-term basis. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 Science with the option to teach your specialist subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for stability and the chance to make a real impact. The school are open to considering ECTs and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons

Teach across KS3–KS4 (with possible A-Level)

Marking, assessment and feedback in line with school policy

Support positive behaviour and pupil progress
Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

Experience teaching Science in secondary schools

Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics
